友人黃埜填贈我一雙夜光杯，霎時遙想盛唐王翰邊塞一絕，於是展紙一揮寫下《涼州詞》： 葡萄美酒夜光杯，欲飲琵琶馬上催。 醉卧沙場君莫笑，古來征戰幾人回？ “葡美酒夜光杯”之旖旎浪漫，“醉卧沙場君莫笑”之慷慨悲壯。回溯盛唐，幷州晉陽的風裏，走來那位豪爽不羈的詩人——王翰。字子羽，一身風骨，半生跌宕。少時倜儻，不拘禮法，意氣風發，自有俠客之灑脱。景雲元年，擢進士第，以進士之身入仕，後蒙薦舉入京，歷官秘書正字、通事舍人、駕部員外郎，曾於朝堂展露鋒芒。然世事無常，薦主張説失勢，其仕途驟跌，貶謫之後，蹤跡湮沒於歷史煙塵，惟留一抹孤影，供後人憑弔。 然其遺世之《涼州詞》，如大漠孤星，穿越千載，依舊璀璨奪目。寥寥二十八字，無繁複鋪陳，無刻意雕琢，而盛唐邊塞之蒼涼遼闊、將士之豪邁灑脱，盡在其中矣。詩中所藴，乃華夏獨有的生死觀——淡看生死，心存家國；亦為骨子裏的家國情懷——縱醉卧沙場，亦無怨無悔。 正是這對夜光杯，引我遙思此詩。贈人玫瑰，手有餘香。黃埜所贈，豈止一雙夜光杯？實乃一段盛唐精神之寫照，一份跨越時空之文化深情。 My friend Huang Ye presented me with a pair of luminous cups, which instantly evoked the frontier quatrain of Wang Han fhe High Tang Dynasty. Thus, I spread out paper and wrote down "The Liangzhou Song": Grape wine fills the luminous cup, As I am about to nk, the lute urges me on horseback. Do not laugh if I lie drunk on the battlefield, For how many have ever returned from ancient wars? The romantic allure of "g wine in the luminous cup" and the heroic pathos of "do not laugh if I lie drunk on the battlefield." Looking back to the High Tang, from the winds of ngzhou and Jinyang, strides the free-spirited and unrestrained poet—Wang Han. With the courtesy name Ziyu, he possessed a noble character and a life of vicissitudes. In his youth, he was dashing and unconstrained by etiquette, full of vigor and possessing the free-spiritedness of a knight-errant. e first year of the Jingyun era, he passed the Jinshi examination and entered officialdom. Later, recommended to the capital, he served as Corrector in the Secretariaant Director, and Assistant Director of the Department of Carriages, where he once displayed his brilliance in the imperial court. However, fate is unpredictable; when his patron Zhang Shuo, fell from power, his career plummeted. After his demotion, his traces were lost to the dust of history, leaving only a solitary shadow for posterity tomourn. Yet, his immortal "Liangzhou Song" remains like a lone star in the vast desert, traversing a thousand years to remain dazzling. With merely twenty-eight characters, without elabmbellishment or deliberate refinement, it captures the desolate vastness of the High Tang frontier and the boldness of the soldiers. What lies within is the unique Chinese view of lie and death—regarding life and death lightly while keeping the nation in one's heart—and the deep patriotism rooted in the soul—regardless of lying drunk on the battlefield, with nregrets. It is precisely these luminous cups that have led me to reflect on this poem. When you give someone a rose, the fragrance remains on your hand. What Huang Ye me is more than just a pair of luminous cups; it is a portrayal of the High Tang spirit and a profound cultural sentiment that transcends tim
